Open Internet and Broadband Access Information

CREDO Mobile customers who have data-compatible phones or tablets enrolled in a data plan have access to the Internet through our Service (as defined in our Customer Agreement). This page provides a starting point for information about that access and is subject to change.

PERFORMANCE AND COVERAGE

CREDO provides service on more than one network.

Network A:

In LTE coverage areas, you can expect download speeds up to 5 Mbps and upload speeds up to 2 Mbps. Video resolution is set at 480p.

Network B:
In areas of Enhanced LTE service, you can expect average download speeds of 12-15 Mbps, and in 4G LTE coverage areas, you can expect average download speeds of 6-8 Mbps and upload speeds of 2-3 Mbps with an average device to network edge round-trip latency of less than 60ms. In 3G coverage areas, you can expect average download speeds of 600 kbps-1.4 Mbps download speeds and upload speeds of 350 Kbps-500 Kbps with an average device to network edge round-trip latency of 160ms.

NETWORK MANAGEMENT

Unless subscribed to a CREDO Mobile hotspot plan, unlimited plan subscribers may not use equipment as a hotspot or to tether to a computer. For Members who enroll in CREDO’s Unlimited Data plan on or after May 8, 2017, data used in excess of 20GB in any monthly billing cycle is reduced in speed to 128kbps.

CREDO reserves the right in our Customer Agreement to terminate data Services or limit data transfers after excessive usage or to protect users or the network.

In providing Service, CREDO relies on networks and services provided by our suppliers. These suppliers may have their own network management practices that affect Services received by CREDO customers. LTE download speeds for lines subscribed to service on network A above will be limited to 5 Mbps.
